Brownies - Jamaican Rum Chocolate Brownies

  • 1 tbsp Adams Chocolate Extract
  • 1 1/2 cups Margarine, Melted
  • 3 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Adams Best Vanilla
  • 3 tbsp Adams Jamaican Rum Flavorin
  • 2 tsp Adams Butter Flavoring
  • 3/4 cups Cocoa
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Syrup
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. In a large bowl combine: Margarine, Sugar, Adams Best Vanilla, Adams Chocolate Extract, Adams Jamaican Rum Extract, and Adams Butter Flavoring, eggs and chocolate syrup. Mix well. In another bowl sift together cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients to the above mixture. Mix well. Spread batter evenly in pan, and bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until the brownies pull away from the sides of the pan. Cool completely. Cut into squares. For a special treat, cut into squares and top with whipping cream, whipped topping or vanilla ice cream that is then topped with sliced fresh or freeze-dried strawberries.
