Adams Hemisfair Burger

» Hemisfair Sauce

  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tsp ADAMS ONION POWDER
  • 1/4 tsp ADAMS BLACK PEPPER
  • juice from can sliced pineapple
  • 1 Tbl ADAMS BUTTER FLAVOR
  • 1 tsp ADAMS PINEAPPLE EXTRACT
Combine first 4 ingredients. Add Adams Butter Flavoring and Adams Pineapple Extract. Mix well. Divide sauce in half.

  • 1 lb ground meat
  • 4 maraschino cherries
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ADAMS GROUND BLACK PEPPER
  • 4 slices of pineapple
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • sandwich spread or mustard
Season meat with salt and pepper. Stir into the meat one half the Hemisfair Sauce. Mix well. Divide meat into 4 patties. Place patties in broiler pan of oven, and baste with sauce. Broil for 7 minutes on one side. Turn patties over, and baste with remaining sauce. Top each patty with a pineapple slice, and put one maraschino cherry in center. Broil for 7 more minutes. Heat buns. Just before patties are done, spread both sides of each bun with sandwich spread or mustard. Place patty on bottom of hot bun. Put lettuce leaf on top half of bun. Makes 4 Hemisfair Burgers.
