Fruit Salad

  • 1 Large can Peaches in heavy syrup, sliced into small pieces
  • 1 tsp. Adams Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. "Adams Best" Vanilla or Adams Almond Extract
  • 1/2 tsp. Adams Nutmeg
  • 2 Large Bananas, sliced
  • 1 pint Strawberries, sliced
  • 1 Large Apple, sliced into small pieces
  • 2 cups Miniature Marshmallows
  • 6 oz. Orange Juice
  • 1 cup Nuts, coarsely chopped
  • 1 Small can Mandarin Oranges, drained
  • 1 cup Shredded, Sweetened Coconut
  • 1 cup Seedless Grapes
  • Whipping Cream (optional)
Drain syrup from peaches, reserve liquid. Combine syrup, ADAMS GROUND CINNAMON, "ADAMS BEST" VANILLA or ADAMS ALMOND EXTRACT and ADAMS NUTMEG in sauce pan. Bring to a near boil. Remove from heat. Cool rapidly. In a large bowl, coat sliced bananas and apples with orange juice to prevent discoloration. To apples and bananas add remaining ingredients and syrup mixture. Blend. Refrigerate until serving. Store in air-tight container. Garnish with whipping cream if desired.
