Brownies - Chocolate Peppermint Brownies

  • 1 1/2 cups butter, melted
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 3 cups sugar, granulated
  • 1 tablespoon Adams Pure Peppermint Extract
  • 3/4 cups cocoa
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Adams Best Vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 13x9x2 inch baking pan. In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, Adams Best Vanilla, and Adams Pure Peppermint Extract. Add your eggs and chocolate syrup together and mix well. In a second bowl, sift together cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt. Add dry ingredients to the above mixture. Mix well. Spread batter evenly in pan. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until the brownies pull away from the sides of the pan. Cool completely. Cut into squares.
