Adams Popcorn Balls

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup White Corn Syrup
  • 1/3 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Shortening
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp ADAMS BUTTER FLAVOR
  • 1 tsp "ADAMS BEST" VANILLA
  • 3 quarts Popped Corn
Keep popcorn in 300 degree oven. Cook first five ingredients until sugar melts. Keep cooking without stirring until sugar forms hard ball in cold water or (270 degrees). Add "ADAMS BEST" VANILLA and ADAMS BUTTER FLAVOR. Pour syrup over popped corn; mix well. Coat hands with oleo before forming popcorn balls.
