Fudge - Blonde Fudge

  • 3 cups Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • 3 Tbl Oleo
  • 4 Tbl White Corn Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp "ADAMS BEST" VANILLA
  • 1/2 tsp ADAMS ALMOND EXTRACT
Mix sugar, milk, syrup, salt and bring to a boil over moderate heat. Cook to soft ball stage (235 degrees) stirring frequently. Remove from heat and stir in oleo. Cool for awhile, then add pecans and flavors and beat until it is real stiff and loses it's gloss. Pour into greased pan and cut into squares when cool. Pecans can be omitted but they add greatly to the goodness of the candy.
