Marinade/Brine - Turkey/Pork Brine

Notes: Great for holiday turkey!

  • 3 tablespoons ADAMS POULTRY SEASONING or HOLIDAY RUB
  • 1 gallon water
  • 1 cup salt
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ADAMS HERB DE PROVENCE (or combination of rosemary, basil, thyme, tarragon)
Mix all ingredients together. Place turkey or pork in brine solution and cover and close. Refrigerate while brining for about 12 hours. When ready to cook, remove from brine and let drain completely for 30 minutes. Pat dry and cook following any meat recipe desired.
