Beef - Pot Roast

Serves: 8

  • 3 lb chuck roast
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ADAMS THYME
  • 2 cups baby carrots
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons ADAMS PEPPERCORN & GARLIC SEAR N CRUST
  • 1 teaspoon ADAMS ONION POWDER
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup red wine
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon ADAMS ROSEMARY
  • 1 teaspoon ADAMS GRANULATED GARLIC
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Coat roast with olive oil and ADAMS PEPPERCORN & GARLIC SEAR n CRUST (House or All Purpose can be substituted). Heat large oven safe pot or dutch oven over medium heat. Sear roast on all sides. Add all other ingredients to pot and cover. Roast in oven for 2 1/2- 3 hours.
