Adams White Fruit Cake

» Batter

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 lb. Margarine
  • 6 Eggs, separated
  • 4 cups Flour
  • 4 cups Pecan Meat
  • 1 lb. Candied Pineapple
  • 1 lb. Candied Cherries
  • 1 lb. White Raisins
  • 2 tsp. "Adams Best" Vanilla
  • 1 tsp. Adams Butter Flavoring
  • 1 tsp. Adams Pure Almond Extract
  • 1-1/2 oz. Bottle Adams Pure Lemon Extract
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream sugar and margarine well. Add egg yolks and 3 cups flour. Mix the pecans and fruit with 1 cup flour then add to creamed mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff then add to above. Bake at 300 degrees in greased and floured stem pan about 1-1/2 hours until tests done. Cool before removing from pan. Archives
