Pound Cake - Adams Perfect Pumpkin Pound Cake

You can use ADAMS PUMPKIN PIE SPICE BLEND or make your own. The recipe is under "Seasonings, Blends, and Rubs."

  • 2 sticks salted butter
  • 2 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ADAMS BEST VANILLA
  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin
  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour pan. Mix together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and ADAMS PUMPKIN PIE SPICE. Cream butter. Gradually add 2 3/4 cups sugar and eggs, mixing well. Stir in ADAMS BEST VANILLA. Add flour to butter mixture alternately with pumpkin, beating after each addition. Pout into pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.

GLAZE: mix milk and powdered sugar together. Drizzle over cooled cake. 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 Tablespoon milk
