Herb Stuffing

  • 4 cups dry cubed bread
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup chopped celery
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon ADAMS SALT
  • 1/2 teaspoon ADAMS POULTRY SEASONING
  • 1/2 teaspoon ADAMS SAGE
  • 1/4 teaspoon ADAMS GROUND BLACK PEPPER
  • 1 cup chicken broth
Saute onion and celery in butter until softened. Let cool. In bowl, mix together eggs, spices, and onion mixture. Fold in dry bread crumbs. Mix in chicken broth to absorb into bread. Put in greased baking dish, cover, and cook at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Take cover off for the last 5 minutes to allow top to brown.
