Pie - Red Velvet Cheesecake

  • 2 ounces chocolate chips
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp ADAMS RED FOOD COLOR
  • 1 tsp ADAMS BEST VANILLA
  • 1 prepared chocolate pie crust
Preheat oven to 350F. Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating on low speed after each addition just until blended. Stir in melted chocolate and food color. Pour into crust.. Bake 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool completely on wire rack. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.

Tip: Pipe a dollop of Cream Cheese Icing (recipe under Icings & Frostings) in center of pie slice before serving.
