Icings & Frostings - White Buttercream Frosting

  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Adams Clear Van
  • 1 cup (or 2 sticks) Butter
  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar
Mix butter, milk and Adams Clear Van. Add powdered sugar one cup at a time, beating thoroughly between additions. Beat on medium until light and fluffy. Add more milk to thin or more powdered sugar to thicken. For frosting with a longer shelf life substitute water for milk and substitute 1/2 cup vegetable shortening for 1/2 cup butter.
