Adams Best Vanilla
This is how we started! Our Adams Best Vanilla doesn't bake or freeze out and enhances a variety of desserts, puddings, cakes, custards, creams, ice cream, and cookies. Don't say Vanilla, Say Adams Best. Enjoy!

| Adams Best Sugar Cookies |

- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp Adams Best Vanilla
- 2/3 cup shortening or butter
- 3 1/4 cups flour
- 2 Tbl milk
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Cream the shortening and sugar in a large bowl. Mix in eggs, Adams Best and milk. In a separate bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to the large bowl and mix until well combined. Wrap dough in plastic and chill for two to three hours. Roll out dough to 1/8 inch thick on a lightly floured board. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters and place on cookie sheets. Bake at 400 degress for 8-10 minutes.

Blend powdered sugar, Adams Best Vanilla with a wired whisk until smooth. Add food coloring for desired color.
