Adams Best Vanilla
This is how we started! Our Adams Best Vanilla doesn't bake or freeze out and enhances a variety of desserts, puddings, cakes, custards, creams, ice cream, and cookies. Don't say Vanilla, Say Adams Best. Enjoy!

| Lemon Pecan Cake |

- 1 lb Butter
- 1 lb (4cups) Flour
- 1 lb Brown Sugar
- 1 lb Pecans (cut up)
- 6 Eggs (beat separate)
- 1/2 cup Sweet Milk
- 1-1/2 oz Adams Lemon Flavor
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking Powder (heaping)
Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks. Add dry ingredients alternately with liquids. Add Lemon Flavor; then fold in egg whites. Cook at 300 degrees in stem pan about one hour and forty minutes. Do not cook too dry.
