Ingredients:

1/2 cup Shortening
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp ADAMS BUTTER FLAVOR
2 Tbl ADAMS CHOCOLATE EXTRACT
1 cup Flour, sifted
1/2 tsp Soda
3/4 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Nuts, chopped

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream shortening, sugars, egg, ADAMS BUTTER FLAVOR and ADAMS CHOCOLATE EXTRACT until light and fluffy. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Sir into creamed mixture. Blend well. Add nuts. Grease cookie sheet. Drop one level teaspoonful 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet immediately. Yield: About 3 1/2 Dozen
