Directions:
Mix sugar, milk, syrup, salt and bring to a boil over moderate heat. Cook to soft ball stage (235 degrees) stirring frequently. Remove from heat and stir in margarine. Cool for awhile, then add pecans (if desired) and flavors and beat until it is real stiff and loses it's gloss. Pour into greased pan and cut into squares when cool.
