Mason Jar Homemade Ice Cream

This is a wonderful treat to make at a family event or send home as a gift to be made later. You can include simple instructions for your guests to follow. All they have to provide is the ice and spoon!

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup rock salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 quart size zip-lock bag
  • 1/4 cup ice - when ready to make
  • 8 single serve half&half packets
  • 1 mason jar
  • 1 tsp Adams Best
Directions:
Add sugar and ADAMS BEST VANILLA to quart size bag and seal. Fill bottom of mason jar with rock salt. Place bag and individual half&half packets in the jar and seal. When you are ready to make the ice cream; add the half&half to the quart size bag and put back in the jar. Fill the jar with ice. Seal the jar and shake for about 10 minutes. Mix in fruit, cookies, or candy for a great treat!
