In small bowl, whisk together milk and egg. In dish mix together flour, cornmeal, and spices. Dredge shrimp in dry mixture, then wet, then back to dry. Add shrimp in batches to heated peanut oil. Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until shrimp begin to float and have a pink color under batter. Remove from oil and place on paper towel to drain, sprinkle with salt to taste.
