Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar and flavors. Add egg and beat until smooth. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and add alternately with drained pineapple. Fold in pecans and drop by tsp. 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 15 or 20 minutes. MAKES ABOUT 4-1/2 DOZEN COOKIES.
